Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Who doesn't love a little sweet potato fry? Check out this healthier version without all of that frying!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and cut into wedges

  • 2 teaspoons canola oil

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

  2. Toss sweet potato wedges with oil, salt and pepper.

  3. Spread the wedges out on a rimmed baking sheet.

  4. Bake until browned and tender, turning once, about 20 minutes total.

  5. Cut Down on Dishes: A rimmed baking sheet is great for everything from roasting to catching accidental drips and spills. For effortless cleanup and to keep your baking sheets in tip-top shape, line them with a layer of foil before each use.
