Summer Time Outdoor Workouts

The weather is warming up and it is time to enjoy the fresh air and get out of the gym. If you are in the south the early morning or later evenings are the best time to get the fresh air but avoid the heat of the Georgia sun.

The scenery is beautiful and why not get a good sweat too. Use your surroundings like benches, hills, stairs, playgrounds! These can be great to boost up a run, sprints or job around the park!

Check out some moves to add into your next park workout!

Working out outside doesn't have to consist of just walking or running. Use your environment to kick it up a notch! Add 15-20 reps of each of the following between your sprints, run, jog or walk!

  • Bench Squat Ups

  • Bench Tricep Dips

  • Bench Push Ups

Add 15-20 reps of each of the following between your sprints, run, jog or walk! ​

  • Bench Kick Ups

  • Push Ups Squats

  • Plank Crawl Shoulder Taps
