Agility Ladder Time

One of my favorite go to additions to my workout is the agility ladder.  As the weeks go by my coordination, speed and balance has increased immensely.  I'm quicker on my feet, able to run a little longer and able to move my body direction faster and proper compared to months ago.  

 

I wasn't very quick on my feet carrying extra weight and I was looking to increase my agility when working out.  My workouts consist of many types of drills as I'm not a big fan of fitness machines my personal preference.

 

I knew increasing my agility would give me a better workout all around from all stand points. Working with the agility ladder has given me the ability to move quicker on my feet during cardio and drills. I love this little ladder!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Agility is the ability to change the direction of the body in an efficient and effective manner with maintaining body balance. In sports, agility training is important as players are not staying at one place they are to move forward, sideways and backward.

 

 

Important factors where agility training requires:

  • Lack of Balance.

  • Lack of Quickness.

  • Less Hip Mobility and Co-ordination.

  • Lack of Reactive Strength.

The Agility Ladder or Speed Ladder is one of the best agility training equipment that helps to learn a wide array of different movement patterns. Ladders are multi-directional tool for improving footwork and help to move feet quickly through complex patterns. 


Speed and Agility Ladders are also considered as the best fitness equipment used to enhance the flexibility and quickness in your body. This equipment plays an important role in reducing weight and keeps your body in better shape.
