How About Some Cone Drills...
I love to switch up my workouts and make them fun! When you make working out fun then you want to keep doing it! I absolutely love adding to my collection of fitness fun and this past week I added cones! We all know I love my agility ladder, but I'm cheating with the cones this week.
Now for the fitness mumbo jumbo part.
Speed and agility training drills are designed to work all your leg and core muscles, as well as the tendons in your body. It is important to train at a level that is equal to your intensity to help increase your performance and to minimize injury.
Cone drills build leg strength and explosion, but it is your intensity and rep scheme that will change the work load.
Focus on body alignment and foot speed. It is important that every rep you are focused on moving your feet faster.
Check out some drills below I like to use. I incorporate 3-5 sets and the quicker the better! MOVE THOSE FEET! I add in (10) squats, sit-ups, push-ups or burpees in between each set.
