Benefits of Healthy Eating
We all know how yummy and quick fast food and restaurants can be, but eating healthy has so many benefits. No need to diet, I hate that word! Be conscious of what you are putting into your body. Living a long and healthy life is so much more important for yourself first and foremost, but also for your loved ones to have you around for a long, long time.
Your food choices each day affect your health, how you feel today, tomorrow, and in the future. “Unhealthy eating habits have contributed to the obesity epidemic in the United States: about one-third of U.S. adults (33.8%) are obese and approximately 17% (or 12.5 million) of children and adolescents aged 2—19 years are obese.**”

How can eating healthy and the right food choices benefit you?
Controls weight – eating right and exercising regularly can help you avoid excess weight gain and maintain a healthy weight
Improves mood – doing right by your body pays off for your mind as well
Combats diseases – help prevent certain health conditions such as heart disease, stroke, and high blood pressure
Boosts energy – energy will drop when eating foods high in sugar and saturated fats
Improves longevity – boost your chances of a longer life
Start making the right choices today! And remember, don’t starve yourself of go for a “diet.” It is OKAY to eat a piece of cake or have fried foods. When eating those “good eats” just make sure to have them in regulation NOT daily or for every meal.
THINK HEALTH!
